Okay so back on topic....now clubbing is something I had never done before and I was so nervous to go but it ended up being a lot of fun, and also the longest night ever! This caused us to sleep in until around 2 or 3pm the next day. Once we were up and running on all cylinders again we went meet up with other friends from the group for a birthday dinner at an Italian/French restaurant. I say Italian/French because there was pizza and pasta and such but everything seemed to have a bit of a French twist to it. My friend Greta and I shared a pizza and a pasta dish and both were very yummy. The best part of the night was when my friend Ashley thought she was ordering a steak but really ended up ordering steak tartar (which is raw)....needless to say she wasn't expecting that. After that we all went to the Eiffel Tower to count down to midnight to celebrate Savannah turning 20 and enjoy the beautiful sparkling lights! :) It was wonderful!!!

Then Sunday brought three hours of church in French, slightly daunting at first but so worth it! Church started at 9:30 and was at the same building where we have school. Its not a super big ward but everybody I met was very friendly. I was surprised at what I was able to understand, although one man gave a talk and I think his native language was Spanish or Portugese because there was definitely some non French vocab sprinkled amongst the very quickly spoken French. :) I could definitely see myself living in Paris and going to this ward every Sunday. What a blessing that the people of France will get a temple in a few years. Of course since it was Sunday I had to take my customary Sunday nap, so after church Savannah and I got to have a little nap time before dinner with our family. All in a days work! :)
